PawnSnap connects people who need money (borrowers) with pawnshops and lenders. This page explains what we store and why.

What we store

• Account: name, email, phone, city, password (hashed). Lenders also give their business name, company number and licence.
• Requests: descriptions, amounts, photos, videos and documents you upload. For loans: purpose, monthly income and employment.
• Deals: offers, chat messages, meetings, contracts, signatures and payments recorded by the lender.

Who sees it

Open requests (without your phone and email) are shown to verified lenders. Your phone and email are shared only with the lender whose pre-approval you accept. Contracts are visible to the two parties and to our administrators.

How long

You can delete your account in the app at any time, unless you have an active contract. Signed contracts may be kept as long as the law requires (e.g. bookkeeping and anti-money-laundering rules).

Where

Data is stored on our own server in the EU (Germany). We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction or deletion. Contact us through the app.
